SPRING BREAK 2010 CAMPAIGN
The Leader Bringing Spring Break Back To Fort Lauderdale Since 1990
Spring Break 2010
News Release!
"We Expect over 250,000
SPRING BREAKERS
will Celebrate Spring Break
2010 in Fort. Lauderdale!"
Thousands of Spring Breakers Will Travel To The Fort
Lauderdale Area To Celebrate Spring Break 2010
Spring Break started in Fort Lauderdale 55 years ago in 1955. Over the years, Spring Breakers have traveled to Fort Lauderdale by the thousands. In 1989, more than 350,000 students spent their Spring Break in the Fort Lauderdale Area. After 1989, the Spring Breakers traveled to many parts of the world to gain new experiences.
It seems that what is OLD suddenly becomes NEW!!! In our recent telephone survey with hundreds of college students, the results indicate that thousands of Spring Breakers want to experience the excitement that attracted their parents and grand parents to Fort Lauderdale. Over 200,000 Spring Breakers traveled to the Fort Lauderdale Area in 2009.
If you are a college student, you will celebrate Spring Break somewhere. Don C. Meyer and his business associates have been promoting the Fort Lauderdale Area as a Spring Break destination since 1990. We estimate that 250,000 Spring Breakers will travel to the Fort Lauderdale Area in 2010!
The good news is that most of the corrupt politicians who were responsible for the anti-spring break attitude since 1989 have either been retired, gone to prison or run out of town!! There is a new attitude and leadership in Broward County. Many of the new business entrepreneurs are college educated.
Most of the nightclubs in the Fort Lauderdale Area are planning special events and activities for the Spring Breakers. With the many water sports, the great beach, the "boss" weather, the night time activities, what more can you ask for! So come on down!!!!
Check out our website for the spring break sponsors www.springbreakftlauderdale.com
"Spring Break started in Fort Lauderdale and Fort Lauderdale will always be considered the home of Spring Break.....and NOTHING will ever change that!!!!"
Don C. Meyer Marketing & Promotions is the only leader in bringing Spring Break back to the Fort Lauderdale Area since 1990.

.
In the last 55 years, the Spring Breakers have spent BILLIONS OF DOLLARS in Broward County making many local business owners very wealthy. Spring Break started in Fort Lauderdale and Fort Lauderdale will always be the home of Spring Break...and Nobody will ever change that!!!!
.
THE REALTY IS: Tourist Experts predict that many Broward businesses could face bankruptcy. The over construction on the beach with high priced condos and resorts has turned off many Europeans and Canadians. Reasonable price lodging is very difficult to find on the Fort Lauderdale beach.
.
ONE SOLUTION IS: Several million College and University students will celebrate Spring Break 2010 some where in the United States. These students will drive cars to their destination and spend billions of dollars. We hope that 250,000 or more students will pick the Fort Lauderdale Area for their Spring Break Destination. College students are more mature about life.....They want to graduate and start making money. And, during Spring Break, they are not afraid
to spend money enjoying themselves.
.
Spring Break 2010 will last for 13 weeks, starting February 25th and ending April 11th. Remember, our College Grads are tomorrow’s Broward Leaders! Support our Future! Join Us!

ATTENTION
I would like to take this opportunity to introduce my personal history to you.
1971 I founded Meyer Sightseeing Tours. We provided over 45 different tours from Disney World to Skydiving Experiences. We provided these tours for most of the tour groups from Germany, England, Canada, Sweden, Denmark, Italy, South America, Ireland, and the U.S.
1989 I formed Concierge Consultants Inc., now Don C. Meyer Marketing & Promotions . Our company provided professional complimentary independent concierge services upon request to any hotel and resort in Broward County. Our tourist information service is a program called the GUEST INFORMATION GUIDE. This program is available free to 48 Hotels and Resorts in Broward County. The GUEST INFORMATION GUIDE presently has several hundred advertisers and is the considered the #1 tourist information program in South Florida.

1990 The SPRING BREAK CAMPAIGN was born. In 1989 the City of Fort Lauderdale "Kicked The Spring Breakers Out of Town" and I initiated a marketing and promotional program to bring the college and university students back to Fort Lauderdale for Spring Break. In 2002, the Spring Break campaign brought over 80,000 students back to Fort Lauderdale representing over 250 million dollars into the local economy in a 10 week period. Over 100,000 students came to Fort Lauderdale for the 2003 Spring Break season. And the number gets larger each year!
